APGO Corporate Liaison Council
In 1995, APGO established the APGO Corporate Liaison Council (CLC) to foster a partnership between industry and the medical education community.
Specifically, the Corporate Liaison Council:
- Fosters interaction between leaders in obstetrics and gynecology and industry;
- Identifies, develops and implements educational programs and activities in women's health care; and
- Provides early access to information regarding evolving trends in women's health care.
The CLC meets twice a year, once at a reception in March and a working meeting each August. Contact the APGO office for more information.
APGO recognizes the importance of continuing education to help medical faculty keep their knowledge and their licenses current. The CLC consists of members of the APGO Board of Directors and corporate representatives, all sharing a common goal - to ensure the future of women's health education.
How To Join the CLC
Membership in the APGO Corporate Liaison Council is open to for-profit corporations with interest and involvement in the field of women's health care. Annual membership dues are $3,000, and includes the expenses for two meetings and mailings throughout the year, as well as $1,000 donation to the APGO CLC Educational Fund. A second member from the same company can join the CLC at a cost of $1,000 annually, plus an optional $1,000 donation to the CLC Educational Fund. The dues run from January 1 through December 31 of the year in which you join. Click for a current dues form.
Each CLC member is responsible for his/her own travel and lodging expenses to the two annual meetings - one in March and one in August.

CLC Celebrates 10 Years!
APGO established the APGO Corporate Liaison Council in 1995 to foster a partnership between industry and the medical education community. The relationship has been a magnificent one. 2005 marked the 10-year anniversary of the council.
