APGO Electronic Educational Resource Award (e-ERA)

General Information

From 2002 to 2009, APGO has used the Website of Excellence award to encourage the use of this platform to enhance medical student education in obstetrics & gynecology.

In the last 7 years, we have witnessed a tremendous growth in website utilization such that clerkship websites are now commonplace. APGO wants to challenge educators in a new way with the establishment of the APGO Electronic Educational Resource Award (e-ERA) which will replace the Website of Excellence Award.

APGO e-ERA will recognize excellence in development of electronic learning resources.

To be eligible, the learning resource must be:

* publically available and internet-based
* educational content must be primarily directed toward medical student learning
* in the area of obstetrics and gynecology, or in the areas of women’s health
* obstetrics and gynecology should be featured prominently in the resource

Resources primarily targeted at resident learners are not eligible for this award.

Deadline for the 2010 APGO e-Era is December 7, 2009.

Access the 2010 Call for Submissions here, and click here for the award application form.

Award winners will be announced at the 2010 CREOG & APGO Annual Meeting. Winners will receive an APGO e-ERA award logo to display on the title page of the electronic learning resource.
