The Morehouse School of Medicine Residency training program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Grady Memorial Hospital is located in Atlanta, Georgia. This urban hospital is located in downtown Atlanta. This is a large metropolitan city with excellent schools, parks and recreational facilities, sports, and indoor and outdoor entertainment. Atlanta is a diverse city with many multicultural offerings. The metropolitan area is large with extensive growth in all directions. MARTA is the public transportation system that includes buses and trains. Atlanta has all seasons. The weather is warm-hot in the summer (low 90's) and cold in the winter (20-30's) with usually a rather light snow during the winter. Atlanta holds one of the busiest airports in the country, with extensive international travel and most of the major airlines with the exception of Southwest Airlines.
