Located on the Gulf of Mexico, Tampa is an exciting and affordable place to live. There is no state income tax and the sales tax is only 7%. The weather is sub-tropical, with a mean temperature of 72.2F and great beaches, salt water fishing, and sports. The city provides professional sports excitement with football, hockey and baseball (Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Lightning and Devil Rays). Tampa Bay has recently hosted the NCAA Final Four and the Super Bowl. The Ice Palace and the Center for Performing Arts provide diverse theatre and concert events. We are also close to Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios and Busch Gardens. Tampa International Airport makes travel to any outside destination an easy and convenient one.
