Welcome to the APGO 2020 Martin L. Stone, MD, Faculty Development Seminar Presenter Page. The meeting will be held January 11-14 at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa, Bonita Springs, Florida If you have any questions regarding your presentation, contact Kelly Toepper, APGO Associate Director, Meetings and Events, at ktoepper@apgo.org or (410) 451-9560.

AV PROCEDURES FOR WORKSHOPS (There is no AV for round tables.)

Each presenter must bring his or her own laptop for use during his or her breakout session. Technicians will be available to assist with connecting to the projector. Arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your session with your laptop. If your laptop does not have a VGA port, please bring a display adapter with you – this includes all Macs and some other brands’ tablets and laptops.

The following AV equipment will be provided for you:

• LCD projector
• (1) Lavalier microphone
• Screen
• (1) Flip chart and markers
• Laptop speakers

No additional equipment will be provided.

Each workshop room will be set in five to six rounds of ten chairs each. A speaker table will be at the front of the room along with the projector table.


Deadline for syllabus submission: Wednesday, October 28, 2019

Syllabus material submission information:

One speaker from each presentation should gather all syllabus materials and submit them together. See the upload page for more information.

  • Syllabus materials must be submitted by clicking here to upload.
  • Submit syllabus material in Microsoft PowerPoint or convert your PowerPoint to a PDF as a three-slide per page handout.
  • Additional materials limited to 20 pages SINGLE SIDED (PDF or Word). Please combine material into one PDF when possible.

Round Table presenters should submit a PDF or Word document with an outline of their presentation. It is also suggested that you bring a paper copy for each participant (up to 10 participants per table including the presenter).

REMINDER: As a speaker, you are expected to provide syllabus material for the online syllabus. If you do not provide syllabus material, you will be responsible for providing the necessary handouts on-site.

Each speaker should complete the Bio & Disclosure form by clicking here by October 28, 2019.

Bios will be included in the Online Syllabus.

All presenters must complete the online Disclosure and Attestation Form by clicking here. Presenters are also required to disclose both verbally and on the first presentation slide whether or not any participating speakers have financial relationships.

Presenters must make their hotel reservations directly with the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa no later than December 9, 2019.

Please make your reservations early as the hotel may sell out before the cutoff date. Click here for details.

Presenters must also register and pay for the meeting and are encouraged to register early.

SPEAKER CHECKLIST (details for all above)

  1. One speaker from each presentation: Confirm all speakers’ participation by reply email to ktoepper@apgo.org by August 12, 2019.
  2. One speaker from each presentation: Upload syllabus materials and complete the abstract form through the upload page by October 28, 2019.
  3. Each speaker: Upload your brief bio and complete the disclosure form by October 28, 2019.
  4. Each speaker: Make your reservation at Hyatt Regency Coconut Point by December 9, 2019. Click here for info. Please note that the hotel may sell out before the cutoff date.
  5. Each speaker: Register and pay for the FDS at apgo.org by December 9, 2019. All workshop and round table speakers must register and pay for the meeting.
