Abstract submissions are still being accepted for the 2018 CREOG & APGO Annual Meeting but you only have five business days left to get your abstract in with all the author disclosures.
Medical students, residents, fellows and/or faculty may submit an abstract for one of the following categories:
Types of presentations will include breakouts, small groups (in place of round tables), oral abstracts and posters.
Deadline: August 4, 2017.
CALL FOR FILM FESTIVAL SUBMISSIONS
Film festival submissions are still being accepted for the 2018 CREOG & APGO Annual Meeting but you only have five business days left to get your abstract in with all the author disclosures.
Medical students, residents, fellows, and faculty are encouraged to submit short films pertinent to women’s health education for review. Films must be no longer than 10 minutes and must be uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo for review. All eligible submissions will be reviewed and scored by a group of peer judges who are members of CREOG and APGO for final selection.
Deadline: August 4, 2017.
NEW APGO RESOURCE: EFFECTIVE PRECEPTOR SERIES
APGO is pleased to announce the release of companion videos to the APGO Effective Preceptor Series. This series of asynchronous online companion videos are designed to provide on-demand CME faculty development to enhance teaching effectiveness and engage university and community-based educators. As an APGO member you can also use the videos as a teaching tool for residents by accessing them through the Educational Resources page. Use them with your residents today and let us know your creative use of this fun resource.

UPDATED APGO RESOURCE: BASIC CLINICAL SKILLS
The APGO Undergraduate Medical Education Committee (UMEC) has updated the APGO Basic Clinical Skills Curriculum Teaching Modules and added five new topics.
The series offers a complete guide for teaching basic clinical and surgical skills to third-year ob-gyn medical students and are based on recommendations from the AAMC Project on the Clinical Education of Medical Students and a review of current published curricular guides.
