Medical Student Educational Objectives, 11th Edition for Students New!
Now with HSS and EPA mapping, the 11th edition of the APGO Medical Student Educational Objectives (MSOs) outlines the core women’s health knowledge, skills and attitudes that are fundamental to the practice of a general physician and are intended to provide clerkship directors, faculty and students with a resource for curriculum development, teaching and learning. Preparation for Residency Knowledge Assessment Tool v.5.5.2020
The APGO Preparation for Ob-Gyn Residency Knowledge Assessment tool is an interactive, web-based examination to measure the didactic knowledge of incoming ob-gyn interns based on the ACGME level 1 milestones. Institutions have also been using this Tool for their boot camp/residency preparation. The exam is available to medical schools and residency programs through an annual subscription to the APGO uWISE program. Your school must subscribe to this resource in order for you to gain access, please contact your program administrator to receive the link if your school has an active subscription (you will need to launch this link every time you access PrepforRes).

The APGO Residency Directory, a widely used database, is for third and fourth-year medical students and their advisors. Here you can compare and assess U.S. and Canadian Ob-Gyn residency programs, finding answers to the most commonly asked questions about each program.

Step Up to Residency Program
APGO and CREOG have created a curriculum to prepare ob-gyn medical students for residency. The curriculum addresses both didactic knowledge and procedural skills and is divided into Obstetrics, Gynecology and Office Practice sections. This interactive session is  presented to matched fourth-year residents each year during the ACOG ACM. For details visit the ACOG Web site.

The APGO Undergraduate Web-Based Interactive Self-Evaluation (uWISE) is an approximately 600-question interactive self-exam designed to help medical students acquire the necessary basic knowledge in obstetrics and gynecology, regardless of future medical specialty choice. Your school must subscribe to this resource in order for you to gain access, please contact your clerkship administrator to receive the link if your school has an active subscription. Interactions with Industry: A Medical Student Guide
Interaction with Industry is a new program to provide medical students and residents with important information and resources. Four modules include Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Development Process; Role of Industry in Clinical Care, Research, and Education; Conflict of Interest and Disclosure; and National Guidelines and Institutional Policies. This resource is included in an active  uWISE subscription.
